 Based in Sonoma in the California Wine Country, Karen Misuraca has been a professional travel and golf writer since the mid-1980s. An
award-winning author, she has written several guidebooks and literary
travel books, and contributes features to a variety of publications,
from inflight magazines to lifestyle periodicals.
Karen has written about waterborne safaris in Africa, cruises in Costa Rica, golf in Europe, Mexico and the Caribbean; spas in Palm Springs, and travel in Central America and Vietnam. A specialist in luxury golf resorts, she is the founder of the online magazine, BestGolfResortsofTheWorld.com, which showcases resorts, golf courses, and resort news from around the globe. 
A lifelong resident of California, Karen explores the West with her husband, Michael Capp, her three daughters, and a lively contingent of grandchildren. |
